12 YEAR OLD CHILD PRODIGY, ALANA INEZ, MAKES WAVES WITH LATEST PROJECT MINOR IN A MAJOR WORLD

TWO TIME STELLAR AWARD NOMINEE EYES THIRD STELLAR NOMINATION 

Columbia, SC (March 10, 2023) Kierra Sheard, Jekalyn Carr and Kelontae Gavin are a few artists that come to mind who you think of child gospel music prodigies. 

Enter 12 year old Alana Inez, the next in line to be crowned with the same honor. Already recognized as “The Next Big Thing” by Grammy® winning artist, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Alana  Inez is a South Carolina native who was born when VaShawn Mitchell’s “Nobody Greater” was the #1 gospel song in America. 

Born January 30, 2011, in Aiken, SC, Alana was born into a musically talented family, so It was no surprise that she would take interest in music. What was surprising, however, was discovering at the tender age of two that Alana had the gift of perfect pitch and by the age of three, she became all versed in ballet, tap and acrobatics. 

Currently making a name for herself throughout the gospel industry, in 2021, Alana’s debut EP Child of the King was nominated in the Youth Project of the Year category at the 36th Annual Stellar Awards. Already making her mark as a singer/songwriter, Alana wrote the song “My Promise, making her one of the youngest Stellar award nominated songwriters in the show’s history.  

In 2022, Alana became a two time Stellar Award nominee with the release of her second offering entitled Thank You Lord. With the release of her third and latest project, Minor in a  Major World, Alana Inez is solidifying herself as on of the ones to watch in gospel music.
