Home Gospel Music News Andrew Potts Jr. Readies New Single, “House of Miracles”

APRIL 13, 2023 (Linden, NJ) — Standing at an astounding 6ft, 6in tall, Andrew Potts Jr appears more like a professional basketball player than a worship leader with a deep rooted testimony of tenacity and strength. The former athlete and child prodigy experienced great loss before he could even talk, as his mother Gwendolyn Potts succumbed to cancer when Andrew was just two years old. Although he doesn’t have any recollection of his mother, he honors her memory through his passion for music.

Through this undeniable passion, Andrew founded the group LEMŪEL, where he was inspired to write and arrange songs that minister to groups of all ages, races, and religious backgrounds. Their 2020 single, Bless Your House, is a high energy call and response worship psalm that was set to make a huge impact at radio and churches nationwide before life as we knew it was halted due to the coronavirus. “When I released Bless Your House, I thought it was a song from God to encourage the body Christ as a whole to get ready for the blessing that was on its way and then boom everybody had to stay home due to the pandemic. During that time, I received a word from God that said, Get ready because a blessing is on its way to my house. It got rough at times, but I continued to keep the faith and as I look back, I lacked nothing. I felt like Elijah when he was getting fed twice a day by the ravens.”

Currently embarking on a solo career, Andrew’s upcoming single House of Miracles, picks up where Bless Your House left off with the same high energy worship his fans have come accustomed to. The song, written by Potts and songwriter Jerry Williams, is a perfect fusion of quartet and worship, boasting the lyrics, “Get ready, your breakthrough is here now, signs and miracles” and you feel every word, chord and squall.

House of Miracles will be available Friday, April 28th on all digital outlets.

Check out an exclusive concert event on Saturday, April 29, 2023 featuring Andrew Potts with special guests Tiya Askia and Travis Taylor.
