FOREST HILLS, Queens, N.Y. — Rock The Bells, the global hip-hop cultural platform founded by Queens native LL COOL J , in partnership with Greater Allen AME Cathedral of New York, announces Rock The Blessings: Juneteenth for the People, a cultural gathering taking place at Forest Hills Stadium on Friday, June 19. Anchored in the pillars of economic, civic, creative and spiritual freedom, the event will bring together thousands of attendees for a full day of gospel music, community engagement, and collective reflection, drawing on the historic legacy of Juneteenth as a living call to freedom and action.
The convergence of Rock The Bells and Greater Allen AME, one of the largest Black churches in the United States, represents a powerful intersection of Hip-Hop, faith, and culture, coming together to honor our history and celebrate Black life. Rock The Blessings speaks directly to a community that has always held both faith and hip-hop in the same hand.
A Musical Lineup of Gospel Excellence
The musical program features some of the most celebrated voices in gospel and inspirational music, including Israel Houghton & New Breed, Donald Lawrence, Smokie Norful, Jekalyn Carr, Maranda Curtis, and more. Together, they will create an experience grounded in the Black church tradition that reaches across generations and communities.
