R3- Stephen Hurd “Oh That Men Would Worship”
Reviewed By Hasan James
Stellar Award winning artist, Stephen Hurd, is back with his first project in three years entitled “Oh That Men Would Worship.” Hurd, who is known for his praise and worship sound, decided to mix it up this time with quartet infused ballads, gospel and of course his signature praise and worship songs. The first single, “Let’s Celebrate” is classic Stephen Hurd and will be sung by every praise and worship team in America in the coming months. “The Eyes of Worship” is a Hurd penned song that takes you straight into worship and reminds us that we can see God’s grace through the eyes of faith. Some trust in horses and chariots but we believe in faith!
“It’s Working For Your Good” featuring Jason Nelson, is another song that takes this project to the next level with Nelson’s powerful tenor and incredible yet intricate background vocals, while 10,000 angels featuring Anthony Evans, continues to take the listener into the holies of holies. The project ends with the Go- Go track, “Victory” featuring the one and only Anthony Brown. If you love Praise and Worship with a little sprinkle of other great ingredients, then you are gonna love this album. “Oh That Men Would Worship” is Root Certified!
