(NEW YORK, NY) – NOVEMBER 21, 2022 – On Saturday, November 12th, Not Another Child, Inc turned the East Harlem neighborhood of 108th street into a bonafide block party, as the ribbon cutting ceremony for their first office was indeed a party with a purpose. With an unusually warm 75 degree November afternoon as the backdrop, the day could not have been more picture perfect. “Last week the police department asked me if I had a rain date because the forecast showed heavy rain on the day of our event, and I told them I did not have a rain date because I prayed and asked God to remove the rain and give us sunshine and he did,” says Oresa Napper-Williams, founder of Not Another Child, Inc.

About Not Another Child, Inc

Not Another Child, Inc.was established in 2006 after the senseless killing of Andrell Daron Napper; a victim of a stray bullet that came from a gun being held by a 15 year old. Not wanting his death to be in vain, Andrell’s mother, Oresa Napper-Wil liams, and brother, Justin Napper, knew that despite this tragedy, something had to be done to positively change and influence the lives of other families. Therefore, through their loss, Not Another Child was birthed. They created the not for profit with the purpose of helping inner-city families who are directly impacted by violence.
