Israel Houghton Nominated Across Two Categories For the 58th Annual Awards

New York, NY (December 8, 2015) – Israel Houghton & NewBreed (RGM NewBreed/RCA Inspiration) garnered GRAMMY® nominations in two different categories.

The five-time GRAMMY Award winners Israel Houghton & Newbreed are nominated in the Best Gospel Album (Covered: Alive In Asia” (Deluxe) and Best Gospel Performance/Song (“How Awesome Is Our God” featuring Yolanda Adams) categories. The 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards will air on CBS on Sunday, February 15, 2016 at 8pm EST.

“We’re extremely proud of our GRAMMY nominees,” said RCA Inspiration’s General Manager, Geo Bivens.

Additionally, Houghton will present his extraordinary “Alive in Asia” concert and documentary in hundreds of movie theaters across the country on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 7pm local time. The concert and documentary will show never-before-seen performance footage and unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to Israel’s music ministry. The one-of-a-kind project was captured across Asia at sold-out stadiums in Jakarta, Indonesia; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Seoul, South Korea; Tokyo, Japan and Manila, Philippines.
