| March 29, 2021 (Brooklyn, New York) – After a full year of one of the most trying and complex times in most of our lives, music is always the one thing that helps us forget about those difficult times. After more than 25 years in the music industry, Thomas Warren Jr. once a veteran member of Hezekiah Walker’s Love Fellowship Crusade Choir, finally releases his debut project, Brand New. The 14-song set (all penned by Warren), features all original music and includes a broad array of musical stylings, from Pop to R&B to Funk to Worship, all in the name of Jesus. Out the gate, it is evident that Warren doesn’t play by industry rules and does things his way. From the cover art to the versatile musical selections, Brand New is both a declaration and proclamation. The project opens up with the hip-hop infused Just Go, a track that is not shy about the use of heavy synthesizers, bass and electronic drums. My Life is another uptempo track that is perfect for summer, complete with an infectious groove and bold lyrics. Other stand out tracks include the R&B tinged He’s In Control, Change The World and the title track, Brand New. Warren’s current single, Expected End, is a self-penned affirmation that explains God’s intention for his people to reach their destiny. After providing background vocals for Grammy® winning artists such as Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Mariah Carey, Sting, Justin Timberlake and others, Warren is now on his own and the experience is definitely Brand New! |
