Dawkins & Dawkins Signs to Light Records

I think most of us would be lying if we said we saw this one coming. 90’s super duo Dawkins and Dawkins just signed a recording deal with the newly revitalized Light Records. Light Records President, James Robinson is overjoyed by the signing and said “This is music that we grew up on. After watching Dawkins and Dawkins for so many years, I am happy to be the one to re-introduce them to the gospel community. This is the biggest signing yet for me and we can compete with the likes of Mary Mary with this one”.

The new release from Dawkins and Dawkins is slated for a March 2011 release and will feature production from the brothers themselves, Warryn Campbell and others. Eric Dawkins has done production work for artists like Christina Aguilera, Mya, Avant, Mary Mary, Brian Mcknight, Kierra Sheard, Coko, Tyrese and R. Kelly.
