Kim Burrell is known as one of the greatest singers of our time and although she has only delivered a handful of musical projects, she is still an icon. One of her albums “Everlasting Life” was hands down one of her best efforts and that is due in part to the production of Asaph Ward. It looks like the magic will re-appear as the two have come back together again to collaborate on Kim’s next project.

The announcement was made last Thursday at a closed door press conference with only 30 media outlets in attendance. BET Networks Executive Vice President, Stephen Hill, introduced Burrell and after a few questions from said outlets, a very svelte Kim Burrell belted out two songs from her upcoming album, one being “I Believe in You and Me”, the Whitney Houston classic that Kim dedicated to her at BET Honors last year. The new album is said to include a plethora of music, from Jazz to Pop to Gospel and is scheduled to be released in second quarter of 2011.
