Home Gospel Music News R.I.P. Bishop Kenneth H. Moales- A Giant in the Gospel!

by Robert Hasan James

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of the greatest men in Christendom, Bishop Kenneth H. Moales at the age of 65. About an hour and a half ago (12AM EST), I read a post on Kenneth Moales, Jr’s Facebook page that read “My dad just had a heart attack and I need everybody to Pray Pray Pray”. I immediately began praying and then within minutes, the words “RIP Bishop Moales” adorned many people’s Facebook statuses. Even as I write this I am at a loss for words because Bishop Moales is the man that groomed my pastor, Bishop Hezekiah Walker into the great man he is today. Bishop Moales preached so many life changing messages into my life that it is hard to pick just one. One thing is for sure..Bishop Moales knew GOD for real! Every time he preached it was like GOD was standing right next to him telling him what to say. The word anointed is simply an understatement. I guess there was no more Bishop Moales could do here on earth. His mission was fulfilled. He literally just celebrated his 65th Birthday just two days ago in grand style and now he is continuing his celebration in Heaven.. just like that!

Please pray for Lady Peggy Moales, Ken Jr, Kenya, Kenee and the entire Cathedral of the Holy Spirit Church family during this most difficult time. Bishop Moales will be sorely missed by millions!

  1. Bishop Kenneth Moales was such an inspiration to us all. His messages stirred the hearts of many and saved so many souls. My heart is very heavy at the loss of this great man of God. My prayers go out to the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit Church and to the family of the now late Bishop Moales. Saints, its time to pray! No man knows the day nor the hour….stay ready and prayed up.

  2. RIP Bishop Moales. Still in shock! Definately praying for his family and the Cathedral family. And…wherever you are Bishop Walker…you know that we are praying for you.

  3. This is a very painful experience with the transition of this giant in the faith. Bishop Moales will be missed by a multitude and we will treasure the memory of a man truly led by the Spirit of the Living God! My prayers go out to the family, church brethren and the host of friends, partners and co-laborers who loved, supported and honored God’s Servant, Bishop Kenneth Moales, Sr.
