Great Gospel at Noon

Can’t wait ’til Sunday to hear some good Gospel music?
Well, Harlem’s got an exciting musical treat for you!

This summer the joyous sounds of Gospel music won’t just be heard on Sundays,
but every Wednesday and Friday for 10 solid weeks starting Wednesday, June 30, and Friday, July 2nd, 2010, from 12 noon to 1 p.m., at Williams Institutional C.M.E. Church, located at 2225 Adam C. Powell Blvd., between 131st & 132nd Streets, in Harlem.

These spirit-filled, one-hour concerts called, “GREAT GOSPEL AT NOON,” will feature the awesome a cappella voices of the popular Late Show’s Gospel Choir, formed 15 years ago to sing on CBS TV’s “LATE SHOW With David Letterman.” Since then this superb choir has sung on that show several times over the years, and
at various engagements all over the U.S.A. Founder and lead singer of the Choir,
Lady Peachena, says, “We love singing for the Lord! Every time we sing together
hearts are touched!”

The powerful messages of love, faith, and peace are embedded in the lyrics of Gospel music, and it’s soothing to the soul during these chaotic times. So get ready for “Ten Weeks of Pure Praise,” with the Late Show’s Gospel Choir, and other guest artists.

Tickets for seniors and kids are only $5. Regular tickets are $10, and VIP seats for Tour Groups are $20. They can be purchased at the door, or online now at: www.gospelchoir.eventbrite.com. “Come expecting a blessing!”
