COMEBACK SINGLE “YOU ARE” ENJOYS 5TH CONSECUTIVE WEEK IN THE TOP 20 ON BILLBOARD’S TOP GOSPEL AIRPLAY CHART

Grammy, Dove and Stellar Award nominated female group Virtue, are making 2015 “The Year of the Comeback”! The sisterly trio was recently named as one of the “16 Gospel Artists to Watch Closely in 2015” by Essence.com. Their latest comeback single, “You Are“, is climbing the gospel radio charts and is enjoying its 5th consecutive week in the Top 20 (#18 peak) on the Billboard Gospel Airplay Chart. The track showcases the group’s signature harmonies, distinctive tones, and empowering message. “You Are” is found on their latest release TESTIMONY: RELOADED (Mixed Bag/eOne) which is available now on all digital platforms and in-stores.

Virtue recently made a high profile appearance at the 30th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards last weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada held at the Orleans Arena. They presented the Male Vocalist of the Year award along with gospel superstar Marvin Sapp. Tune in to watch Virtue this Sunday, April 5th at 6P/8P/10P EST on TV One.

Most recently, they performed along side Grammy award winner Bebe Winans for the Centric Celebrates Selma Concert (BET, MTV Jams, Centric). Additional featured artists for the event included Aloe Blacc, Angie Stone, Doug E. Fresh, Kelly Price, Kirk Franklin, MC Lyte, Eric Benet, and more. The concert commemorated the 50th anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery civil rights march on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama. President Obama, Harry Belafonte, Peter Yarrow and other historical figures made appearances.

The concert is one of many recent high profile media appearances for Virtue. On March 3, 2015 the sisters, sat down to talk with Roland Martin on his show “News One Now” (TV One). They discussed their hiatus and their forthcoming sixth full-length studio album entitled FEARLESS – slated to be released later this year. They’ve also made appearances at the 16th Annual Gospel Superfest; the 35th Annual GMA Dove Awards in Nashville and will be appearing at the Radio One Women’s Empowerment Event in Raleigh, NC on April 17-18.
