(PHILADELPHIA, PA) March 16, 2018 — Craig Hayes is a recording artist, radio personality, songwriter, workshop facilitator and an all around humble guy. His career spans almost three decades and shows no signs of slowing down. With four full length albums to his credit, “The Professor,” as he is affectionately called for his skill set as a dynamic musician and choir arranger, has written songs for the likes of Hezekiah Walker, John P. Kee, Wilmington Chester Mass Choir, Bruce Parham, The GMWA Mass Choir, David Wright and The NY Fellowship Choir and more.
Hayes is currently Minister of Music at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Burlington, New Jersey. His duties include administration, fine arts, dance ministry, music production and choir director of a 100 plus voice choir. For the past decade, Hayes has been the National Youth Director and on the Board of Directors for the Gospel Music Workshop of America, gospel music’s largest music conference.
Ever the minstrel, Hayes is also a sought after clinician and has facilitated workshops in major cities all over the world in places like: Canada, Bahamas, Portland, Los Angeles, Houston and Miami, just to name a few.
Over the past six years, the Trenton, New Jersey native has been the host of “The Lab with Professor Craig Hayes,” his very own morning radio show, on three time Stellar Award winning station WIMG 1300 AM. The show garners thousands of listeners every morning and is one of the station’s highest rated shows. As a radio announcer, “The Professor” is known for playing nostalgic choir tunes and uplifting Top 20 hits. Staying true to his original calling, Hayes wrote and produced his latest offering “Taking Good Care,” a timeless song that Hayes says, “Is a song that can be sung for generations to come because God is always taking good care of us.”
