Emerging Artist Kevin Love Releases New Single “Premeditated”

Atlanta, Ga (May 17, 2021) – Kevina, not being a stranger to singing, since the age of 13 years old Love was the lead singer for PYT (Pretty Young Things) but at the age of 14, Love felt God called her to sing solely for him. Having generations of singers in her family, such as Love’s grandmother Janie Crawford, a member of The Gospel Travelers, and Joyce Humbert, Love’s mother, a backup vocalist for Grammy® winning legend Patti Labelle, she let her faith guide her to leave her heart and soul in her music.
As the follow-up to Love’s previous hit Broken, The Diamond Love Music Group LLC & Kevina Love is thrilled to announce the release of Kevina’s latest single, Premeditated.
Premeditatedis a beautifully written ballad that tackles an issue that we don’t normally hear in song, calculated sin. Premeditated is another testament to Kevina Love’s growth as a songwriter and artist. The lyrics are poignant, bold, transparent and will change the way we look at sin.
Weathering many storms, including the loss of her husband, the murder of her stepson and the sudden death of her son Keyvon all in 2013, Kevina vowed never to let go of God’s hand even while her faith was challenged. Kevina started penning her testimony through heartfelt songs to God, allowing herself to be used by God on stage.
With the release of her debut EP, Tragedy to Triumph in 2015, it introduced the vintage gospel feel of her music. Love’s follow-up, Feels Like Sunday EP, was released in 2017 and spawned her first Billboard charted single, Saved. Kevina’s career was on the rise as she was a 2017 Steeple Award nominee for Best New Artist and a 2016 recipient of the People’s Choice Award at the Gospel Image Awards.
