Sutton, a native of North Carolina, has spent the last decade leading congregations as Senior Pastor of several congregations in the greater New York City area. His youthful, yet seasoned approach to ministry has lead thousands of people to Christ and he is one of the most sought after millennial preachers in the country.
Edwrin Sutton, the artist and songwriter, has set his sights on the music industry and has done so with ease. His debut single I Hear Rain, peaked at #32 on the Gospel BDS Charts and his debut project The Revival has already been highlighted on Pandora’s New Gospel Now playlist as well as three major placements via Apple Music under the Best New Gospel Songs, Gospel Flow and Take Me to Church playlists.
The industry has also spoken, as gospel legends Earnest Pugh, James Fortune and Grammy® winner Donald Lawrence, have all praised The Revival on their social media platforms.
Peaking at #11 on the iTunes chart, songs like the current single, The Sound of Revival, the Top 30 debut single I Hear Rain, the ever familiar classic Mighty God , the John P. Kee inspired When We Worship and the most poignant song the project has to offer, G.O.A.T. – which boasts the lyrics: “Michal Jordan, Lebron James and Kobe Bryant are just a few names.
