CECE WINANS WINS GOSPEL ARTIST OF THE YEAR AT THE
48th ANNUAL GMA DOVE AWARDS
 
(Los Angeles, CA) –  Gospel singer and song writer CeCe Winans continues to blaze the trail in the entertainment industry with heartfelt music that not only sounds good, but is empowering to listeners.   Winans  was recently nominated for three GMA Dove Awards, Contemporary Gospel|Urban Worship Album of the Year for Let them Fall in Love;  Contemporary Gospel| Urban Song of the Year, “Never Have To Be Alone,”  and  Gospel Artist of the Year.  Winans walked away with two out of three nods; Gospel Artist of the Year and Contemporary Gospel|Urban Worship Album of the Year awards.  In addition to her nominations Winans’ son Alvin Love III and Tommy Sims also received a nod for Producer of the Year.
Winans’ response to taking home two Dove Awards, “I am humbled by God’s kindness and faithfulness.  Winning is always about GOD being glorified! The 48th Annual GMA Annual Dove Awards were held at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena in Nashville, TN and set to air exclusively on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) on Sunday, October 22 at 8pm. The show is expected to reach over 100 million viewers in the U.S., plus global and multi-platform distribution.
