Ashaala has also been privileged to travel the world as an accomplished touring background vocalist for Grammy Award Winning Gospel Artist, Yolanda Adams, Martha Munizzi; and Grammy Award Winning Soul Singer, Betty Wright. Nominated for two (2) Rhythm of Gospel Awards, Ashaala Shanae is also an accomplished songwriter, noted for her work on Island Def Jam Artist, Ace Hood’s anthem, “Top of the World” and in Gospel Music, penned the single, ‘Champion’, recorded by Award Winning Gospel Group – Shekinah Glory Ministry. Ashaala has recently released her new International summer single, ”Big God” which features Award Winning Gospel Reggae Icon, Papa San, and Jamaica’s own Gospel Troupe, Perpetual Sounds of Praise. “Big God” is currently in heavy rotation on national and international radio stations and is available worldwide on all digital retail outlets including iTunes, AmazonMP3, and Google Play. Following up from her sophomore album, “Matters of the Heart”, Ashaala is scheduled to release new music and her first Instructional DVD series and book on Vocal Health and Pedagogy in the fall of 2017.
