OK so here is what I need you to do. Remember the name Nakia Tabas Battle (Lady Kee) because I have a feeling she is going to take the Gospel and Christian community by storm with her hilarious sketch comedy play, “Stitches”. The name of the play is appropriately titled as it will have you in “Stitches” for pretty much the entire time. With a cast of about a dozen unknown actors and actresses, this show is reminiscent of the 90’s smash hit “In Living Color”.
The show started with a skit entitled “Church Cheaters”, which is a parody of the show “Cheaters”, where the spouse or significant other of a man or women catches their mate cheating while millions of viewers watch on television. “Church Cheaters”, however, is a hilarious skit about people who leave their church to go to another church. The Bishop, who was dressed in islamic garb, actually secretly visits the other church where her members were going and confronts them in dramatic fashion. Pure comedy!
With other skits like “America’s Next Best Preacher” where contestants were blind and handicapped pastors, Dance 101, where instructors actually teach you how to dance and shout at church or the Black History Tribute to everyone from Mahalia Jackson to Nicki Minaj, you will literally laugh until your side hurts. One of my personal favorite skits was the “Grammy Awards” scene, which in my opinion was comedic genius.
In a nutshell this show was very funny and the wardrobe stylists, actors and musicians did not miss a beat. Kudos to Lady Kee and The Kingdom Agency.
I too enjoyed every moment of stitches i drag my sister along with me and boy was it an awesome good time!! laughs from start to finish i screamed and cried!! because laughter cant describe it. Yes kudos are in order for Lady Kee and the Kingdom agency!

This was one of the most hialrious set of skits. The cast was amazing. Lady Kee did her thing both in writing these skits and in her performance as well. Upfiting comedy at it’s best. I look forward to many more.
