Mary Mary’s Erica Campbell Flies Solo

Erica Campbell, one half of the dynamic duo Mary Mary, graced the stage of the famous Village Underground in New York last Sunday. Campbell premiered her her first single “Just A Little More Jesus” from her forthcoming solo project, to a standing room only crowd. The song is a different direction for the four-time Grammy Award winner, however, it is poised to be a chart topper, with it’s down home church feel and its call and response phrasing.

Veteran producer and Erica’s husband Warryn Campbell, created a musical direction for his wife that remains faithful to the core Mary Mary followers, while fortifying her presence with traditional gospel music lovers. The crowd and band helped to reprise the song before she could leave the stage; a sure indication that “Just A Little More Jesus” will be this summer’s heat seeker!
