Lecrae Breaks New Ground at BET Hip Hop Awards

The BET Hip Hip Awards was a trending topic on Twitter and Facebook from 8 to 10PM last night as the awards show payed tribute to Hip Hop icon, LL Cool J and featured performances by the old school overweight lover Heavy D, DMX, Rick Ross, Meek Mills, Young Jeezy, T.I. and many others. However, the most anticipated segments of the night is always the cyphers. Everyone from Eminem to Chris Brown to Busta Rhymes were apart of the cypher and they definitely represented but the most highly anticipated of the night was Holy Hip artist Lecrae. We all know Lecrae got skills but he showed and proved with the best of the best and pulled no punches as he kept it all the way hood and all the way holy! Check out his no holds barred verse below:

Now for anyone who knows anything about Hip Hop and metaphors, you know that Lecrae can stand toe to toe with any Hip Hop artist out there and his flow and lyrics are BANANAS!! Job well done Lecrae. You represented the kingdom well and hopefully opened the door for many other Holy Hip artists to rock the cypher in years to come. BET, take note!
