THE HONORABLE JUDGE GLENDA HATCHETT JOINS BISHOP NEIL ELLIS AND GLOBAL UNITED FELLOWSHIP PRESS CONFERENCE IN WINSTON-SALEM, NC

 

Winston, Salem, NC  – As the days wind down to the first inaugural conference of the Global United Fellowship, Bishop Neil Ellis today announced that The Honorable Judge Glenda Hatchett will take the podium next Tuesday, July 15, as a speaker during the organization’s inaugural press conference.

Ellis has appointed Judge Glenda Hatchett as Global United Fellowship’s Spokesperson for Family. In this role, she will work closely with Bishop Ellis to develop specific initiatives designed to strengthen the family unit and provide counsel and outreach sources for youth and young adults. For 10 seasons, Hatchett presided over the celebrated; 2-time Emmy nominated syndicated show, “Judge Hatchett.” She is also the author of the national best-selling books “Dare to Take Charge” (Center Street) and “Say What You Mean, Mean What You Say”(HarperCollins).

In addition to Bishop Neil Ellis and Judge Hatchett, press conference speakers will include Bishop Kenneth Ulmer, senior pastor of Los Angeles’ Faithful Central Baptist Church, Presiding Bishop over Macedonia International Bible Fellowship in Johannesburg, South Africa,  and GUF’s Chairman for the Council of Apostolic Fathers; Ambassador Suzan Johnson Cook, principal advisor for Religious Freedom to President Barack Obama and GUF’s Global Leader of Cultural Diversity; and Reverend Dr. Sir Walter Mack, senior pastor of Union Baptist Church in Winston Salem and Global Leader of Evangelism for GUF.

In a little less than one year, more than 400 churches from around the world, including England, Pakistan and South Africa, have joined Global United Fellowship (GUF), which will host its first International Gathering July 15 – 18 at the Benton Convention Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

The July 15 press conference will introduce key national leaders of Global United Fellowship and outline its plans for rigorously impacting the church and, subsequently, society.
