Health Partners Presents Crazy Praise Dance Showcase 2011

For the third year in a row, Health Partners has given back to the Philadelphia community in a huge way. Well over 1,000 gospel music enthusiasts packed out the Baptist Worship Center for free health screenings, food , vendors, give aways and a free ticket to one of the best line-ups in Gospel Music. The event was hosted by Praise 103.9’s own Lonnie Hunter, who was as funny and witty as he is on the radio five days a week.

The Dance portion of the event was phenomenal as dance groups from the Philadelphia and Tri-State area represented with Miming, Praise Dance and Hip-Hop.
Throughout the night, Host- Lonnie Hunter, called on a few people from the audience to sing a song of their choice, some good, some bad and some entertaining, but it all made for a great night complete with Health, Dance, Praise and Song.
J.J. Hairston & YP
J.J. Hairston & YP (Youthful Praise) set things off for the concert portion of the night as they performed their radio hits “Lord You’re Mighty and “Incredible God”. They definitely showed and proved why they are one of the best choirs in the gospel music scene.
Kim Burrell
The incomparable Kim Burrell was in rare form as she talked a little, preached a little and sang two songs from her latest project- The Love Album, “Let’s Make It To Love” and “Sweeter”.
Donald Lawrence & Company
Last but not least, the always “Dressed to Impress”, Donald Lawrence and Company kept the crowd on their feet as they performed a plethora of Donald’s amazing catalog such as: “Spiritual”, “The Blessing of Abraham”, Never Seen The Righteous”, “Encourage Yourself”, “Matthew 28”, “When The Battle Is Over” and many others.
Congratulations to Health Partners for bringing another great event to Philadelphia and for incorporating health, dance, praise and song without missing a beat!
