Take a walk through any mall in urban America.  Stroll through the streets of any inner-city neighborhood.  You may even see it in the skate parks of Suburbia.  There is a particular fashion statement that has caused a lot of controversy over the past decade and it doesn’t look as if its going away any time soon; despite the constant pleas of parents, school officials, government representatives or religious leaders.
