The time has come for what the world has been waiting for. Last month, The Carters- Jay – Z and Beyonce, gave birth to their first child, daughter, Blue Ivy.

The images surfaced on Jay-Z’s lifestyle blog, Life + Times, on Friday afternoon (Feb. 10). “We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. – The Carter Family” was released as a message to the couple’s fans.

Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy Carter on Jan. 7, 2012. A week later, Jay- Z recorded the song “Glory”, dedicated to his new bundle of joy. The song even featured Blue Ivy at the end of the song, making her the youngest person ever to appear on Billboard’s Hot 100. Isn’t that special?!
