Nashville, TN (April 23, 2014) – Grammy®, Dove, and Stellar Award-nominated Anita Wilson made her way to the Big Apple on April 21st to exclusively premiere new music from her forthcoming sophomore project, VINTAGE WORSHIP, releasing June 24th. The buzz surrounding Wilson’s new project has been fueled by previous listening sessions held in Chicago, Atlanta and Nashville.

Wilson gave a sneak preview of the 11 song album during an intimate setting at the BMI offices surrounded by a who’s who of industry tastemakers, media personalities, fellow recording artists, and more, the visit to the “The City That Never Sleeps” yielded fresh acclaim from attendees. Those who witnessed Wilson’s new music included; Bishop Albert Jamison, radio personality Neicy Tribbett (WLIB), event host Wardell Malloy (BMI), Anaysha Figueroa-Cooper (eOne Recording Artist) who is featured on Wilson’s project, Latice Crawford (RCA Inspiration Recording Artist) among more.

The social media buzz surrounding Wilson’s new project has been fueled by previous listening sessions. Fans gave Twitter a jolt sharing their favorites using #VintageWorship. Key standouts from the forthcoming project includes; “Keep Doing What You’re Doing”, “Oh How I Love Jesus” featuring Avery Sunshine and Bishop Yvette Flunder, “Reasons” featuring Grammy Award winner Tommy Sims and lead single “That’s What He’s Done For Me.”

“The most important album in an artist career is their sophomore album. The first album is their introduction to the world, but the sophomore album is that album where an artist has to prove that they belong. On her sophomore album, Anita not only proves that she belongs, she managed to outdo her first project; which was very hard to do,” says Hasan James, Editor-In-Chief of Root Magazine.
