Actor Sherman Helmsley Dead at 74

70’s and 80’s sitcom actor Sherman Helmsley has died at the age of 74. Helmsley was found unresponsive at his home in El Paso, TX. It seems as if the actor died from natural causes.
Helmsley is best known for his role as George Jefferson in the smash hit sitcoms, “All In the Family” and the spin-off show, “The Jeffersons”. In the late 80’s he also played alongside Anna Marie Horsford and Clifton Davis in the hit sitcom, “Amen”.
Helmsley was never married and had no children.
